The recommended amount is 1 teaspoon – 3 tbsp per day. When using psyllium, always drink enough fluids to avoid possible side effects.
A typical recommendation is to add 3.5 grams of psyllium powder to 2.5 deciliters of liquid.
When baking, mix the psyllium powder with the dough liquid and let it swell for 10 minutes before adding the flour.
